My dog isn’t used to being walked with a harness, I’m afraid he won’t like it. Can you just use what I usually use at home for our walks?
We completely understand where you’re coming from. No one particularly likes change, and it’s understandable worrying your dog won’t want to change what they’re used to for their walks. We strongly believe the harnesses we’ve chosen will give your dog the healthiest, safest, most comfortable walk possible. We’ve also trained our staff on how to help desensitize your dog to the harness. Using some simple positive-reinforcement training techniques, we help your dog become a pet who is happy and excited to have their harness put on.
*We can make rare exceptions to the harness policy for dogs who have been trained to walk with a collar and are very good about not pulling. We also can make exceptions for senior dogs who have never walked with a harness and would have a difficult time learning now— as long as they aren’t pullers.

Will I have the same pet sitter every time?
Each client is typically assigned one sitter and a backup. This way, your pet (and you) are always familiar with the sitters coming to your home. During particularly busy seasons (like during major holidays), we may need to split some pet sits between a few sitters, but you’ll always be made aware so you never have to wonder who is coming to your home. All of our sitters are trained one-on-one, thoroughly screened, reference checked, background checked and guaranteed to provide you with excellent professional and caring service.
-
What is your vaccination policy?
For your protection as well as ours, we require all the pets under our care be up to date on their vaccinations. There’s a section in our online portal where you can upload information about your pets’ vaccinations.
-
Do you work on holidays?
Absolutely! Any day of the year you need us, we’ll be there for you.
-
How early/late in the day can you come?
Our earliest pet-sit starts at 7 am, and the latest starts at 9:30 pm (ending at 10:00 pm).
-
Can I request a last-minute visit?
Yes! We’re happy to help you if we have availability.
-
How can I pay, and when am I charged for visits?
You can pay us in person (with a check or cash) or pay us through your online account. Online, we accept credit cards, debit cards, ACH/e-check payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You are welcome to pay us as soon as your service is booked, or wait until you're back home to pay for vacation pet sits.
We only charge your payment method that’s on file if your invoice is past due. Vacation clients often leave payment for us to collect in their home when we arrive for the start of the vacation sit— or pay us on the last day online. For regular mid-day dog walk clients, we request they pay us at the end of each month.
-
How do you handle key security?
We take your security very seriously. Any time a sitter is given a key for a client’s home, the key is placed on a key ring connected to a tracker. We’ve never lost a key, but this gives you an added layer of security knowing we always know exactly where your keys are. We also never have your name or address associated with your key. Keys are differentiated in a safe way so that if someone were to somehow get hold of one, they wouldn’t be able to tell which home it was for.
-
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured, bonded, and registered.
-
What do you do if weather makes coming to my house too dangerous?
We will use our best judgment while caring for your pet(s) and will carry out your instructions and preferences to the best of our ability. If the weather makes it too dangerous to drive to your home, the service schedule may be changed, interrupted, or altered. If it is not possible to get there safely you will be notified of the change. We highly recommend keeping an emergency contact on file (for example, a trusted neighbor) so if we are unable to get there right away, and we are unable to contact you, we could call them.
-
Should I tip my pet sitter?
Tips are always appreciated but never expected.
